Tonight marks the last night in this eight-week string of hellish classes. It’s been the most stressful class I’ve taken to date, not because the material is too difficult, but because there’s too much material.
I haven’t been able to keep up with the lab work during our once-a-week lab sessions, simply because there’s so much involved in each lab. It wasn’t until the sixth week of class, I think, that my professor told me that students are [all but required] to either have a computer at home on which they can do the lab work, or come to the school on an off day to do the work.
So here I am, with about 2.87 labs left to do, and they’re all due by midnight tonight. Oh, and I have to take the final exam tonight, too.
bittersweet.
Yooo..
I kno it has nothing to do with what you wrote, but have you ever heard of [redacted] . They seems to promise free ringtones
PS. Dont be an ass, this is NOT spam ;)
This site is absolutely amazing. I’m sure I’m not the only person in the world that knows a lot of classical music, but can only identify a handful of them by name.
This site has the most popular and recognizable classical songs; you’ll have to go through them one by one if you don’t know the name or the composer, but that’s where the fun of this site comes in. I guarantee you’ll say “Oh, so that’s what that song is called!” more than once.
This picture has been making its rounds for quite a while now. From what I’ve read about it, the license plate was generated randomly by whatever gnome- or goblin-powered magic vehicular identificationalizing process Florida utilizes.

We’ve had the inspection, and now I guess we’re just waiting for the FHA people to tell us what has to be done before we can close. Then we’ll negotiate the bank to figure out who’s going to pay for it all. So, we’re kind of in a lull right now. Which is probably good because my Firewall Security class is kicking my ass right now.
After getting pre-approved with Wells-Fargo, I got a call from my agent saying that WF wanted everyone with an offer on the house to give them their “highest and best” offer. They would take them all, go through them, and pick the best one.
We’d already increased our offer from what we were originally proposing, but I wasn’t comfortable with it at that point. Just about everyone else was telling me to hold firm, but I wasn’t so sure that would be the best option. I ran a bunch of numbers to see what we’d be able to afford and tried to find a balance with what I thought would be enough.
I thought about it - agonized over it, really - for 24 hours, and finally put in an offer that was another $8k higher than it was.
Then I had to wait another 24 hours before I finally heard from my agent. WF accepted our offer. There were eight other offers on the house, and mine barely pulled it out.
So there, all you “stay firm” people. I know what I’m doing sometimes; my gut instincts have a fairly good track record.
